Found some cute photos of a swan we had an encounter with last July when my mom, sis and KH came to visit. We went to the Bowness on Windermere in the Lake District. took a cruise, had some lunch, played with swans and lake creatures. This was actually like a pit stop before heading up to Edinburgh. It was raining and a bit too cold for my mum and since we’ve (me and KH) have been in europe for awhile, it seems as though every lake and countryside pretty much looked the same. heheheh thats pretty bad to say. anyway, just wanted to share the swan pic =p

oh i rmbr another incident. KH was playing round with the swan and ducks. and then some hobo came up to him and said KH was stupid! ahahhaha it really pissed KH off but i thought it was hilarious!! lol

Found this really interesting video which definitely sums up the reason I’m doing my course. In this day and light and the advancements of the human world, it’s getting increasingly hard to get people to think of the things that they do, that they consume as well as what they waste, throw, etc. Marx calls this a ‘detachment’ of humans from the source of where things come from.

This is always a common theme on my blog, the loss of time, how quick it just passes along with all the opportunities and chances to do great many things. I can never fully comprehend the the scale of time and as it is, 2 months have passed since my masters course started and I am finally relaying my thoughts about it.

This is definitely the course I would’ve wanted to do 3 years ago. That lousy degree has set me back so much, I feel as though I have 3 years of reading and work to catch up on (hence the lack of communication). Every week there are new things to print to read, new things to research about, the list is endless. Luckily I enjoy reading.

Sounds as though I’ve been cooped up in the library all this time hasn’t it? Well as hardworking as I hope I would be, I’ve also been playing about quite a bit. It’s mainly because of the thought that it might be my last year here in the UK that’s bringing about such playfulness.

Anyway, that’s as much of an update I can offer up. It’s back to my studying (whoop!). =D

Lots of life changing moments have happened, just waiting for my graduation now, sniff sniff.

After all that, Monday was printing day, Tuesday was binding day and by Wednesday, I had my complete dissertation.

Dissertation May 2010

It felt absolutely surreal just holding it. It was like I was holding my life, my life written on these papers bound by a plastic cover, cardboard back and some glue and tape in the middle. (doesn’t feel all that secure) Nevertheless, there it was. My dissertation. The one that decides my final degree grade. The one that decides whether I get into my Masters program. The one that decides whether I get my scholarship for my Masters. And which ultimately decides my future career pathway, which basically will be the rest of my LIFE. phooo~~ omg so stress! hahaha

Apart from that, i think everything’s well. I miss my family, but I’ll see them in less than two months, so yayy!
