It’s definitely so nice and easy that exams are over already. Always a great feeling and you straightaway just feel the burden lift off your shoulder. I’ve just been running around manchester like crazy since then, cuz i’ve been confined in my flat for toooo long. Spent a whole day on Wednesday tree planting! yes tree planting! I find it really fun, its volunteering, related to my course and I don’t have to deal with people as much.
Tree planting at Painswick Park which is just outside the Manchester Airport which meant a one hour++ bus ride there and back. huhu. The day was great for the trees cuz they need the cold weather so that moisture from the roots don’t just vaporise and leave the tree to die. So basically, it was cold, foggy and gloomy, perfect for trees but not so much for human beings =S. hehe. Anyway because of the weather instead of the 15 volunteers expected only 3 showed up, including me! oh so terrible. which means more work, less chance to slack. But it’s ok, everybody was nice, and even though I came back with a terrible pain on my back from bending over so much shoveling and digging, it was a really good experience as always.

Wednesday didn’t end there, we had a volleyball match against University of Chester and we beat them! wahahaha. I think we’re gonna be in quarters now or something, let’s hope. Wednesday was definitely a good day to end exams instead of the ang mohs with their drinking and watever. My own special way to celebrate (as well as eating junk and watching shows). I’ve been having a pretty sore body for the rest of the week because of the sudden activeness tho. hehe
Thursday was grocery shopping at faraway Asda. Nice huge supermarket, so i spent ages just going thru each aisle slowly and intricately. At the end of it, after putting all my stuff on the cashier and getting ready to pay, I realize I lost my bus pass and my debit card!! OMG. damn terrible. The next 15mins was just me frantically going thru each aisle again and finally going to lost and found and thank god someone had brought it in! Apart from not being able to get back if I didnt have my bus pass, (walking would’ve just been like half hour) I didnt have any money at all to buy all the things that I spent ages finding and picking! =S I really have to be more careful.
Then friday was spent buying some last minute baking things and presents and then baking for people’s birthdays. Can just see my money fly fly away. So easy to use card to pay for everything, you don’t feel it. But when you see the bank statement (online), snif snifff. Hehe. But baking was loads fun and soo much better than the last time, yay!
